ZERBES RESERVE

Public BBQ

Zerbes Reserve offers a charming community sports experience nestled among native gum trees in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. The well-maintained football oval serves as home to Beverley Hills Junior Football Club and Doncaster East Football Club, with the unique advantage of elevated car parking that allows spectators to watch matches from their vehicles. The nature-themed playground caters primarily to younger children, featuring swings, slides, a popular flying fox, see-saw, and rope climbing equipment, all shaded by established trees. While older children might find the play equipment limited, the reserve compensates with open grassy areas perfect for running dogs away from the oval. Basic amenities include picnic tables, bench seating, and reportedly toilet facilities, though signage could be clearer. Both gravel and sealed parking options provide convenient access to different areas of the reserve, making it a practical choice for local families and weekend sport enthusiasts.
