WOODLANDS PARK

Public BBQ

Woodlands Park in Essendon has undergone an impressive transformation courtesy of Moonee Valley Council, emerging as a well-rounded family destination. The extensive renovation has delivered modern BBQ facilities alongside covered seating areas, making it ideal for family gatherings. A large pond populated with swans and ducks serves as the park's centrepiece, surrounded by walking tracks that accommodate both leisurely strolls and exercise routines. The comprehensive playground keeps children entertained while parents appreciate the clean, modern toilet facilities. Despite its location in a bustling area, the park maintains an unexpectedly peaceful atmosphere. The proximity to Coles and 7-Eleven adds practical convenience for last-minute supplies. Well-maintained paths, strategically placed benches, and proper bin placement demonstrate thoughtful planning. The combination of recreational facilities, natural elements, and family-friendly amenities creates an appealing destination for day outings and casual barbecues.
