WINGFIELD DR RESERVE

Public BBQ

Wingfield Dr Reserve delivers an unexpectedly comprehensive family experience beside a tranquil man-made lake. The playground caters to both toddlers and older children, with mini trampolines that provide gentle bouncing fun, though parents should note the shallow depth requires careful supervision. The highlight proves to be exceptionally long swings that allow adventurous youngsters to soar higher than typical park equipment permits. A half basketball court occupies one corner while expansive grassed areas accommodate ball games and picnicking. Two BBQ stations sit beneath undercover areas, providing essential shade during warmer months. Practical touches include a drinking fountain with an attached dog bowl, acknowledging the neighbourhood's four-legged visitors. The lakeside setting adds scenic appeal, though equipment shows some wear with swing chains that can prove uncomfortable for extended adult participation.
