Public BBQ

A newer playground in the middle of a residential area with an impressive range of equipment: a small and a large slide, standard, toddler and birds nest swings, ladders and rope ladders, a bridge, a rope tunnel bridge, three in-ground trampolines, a rope climbing structure, springers and dome-shaped mounds, all on rubber and bark chip softfall. The swings include a securing strap for smaller children. An undercover area provides a table with bench seats, with more seating and tables around, plus a drinking tap, barbecues and bins. It is brilliant for an adventurous three or four year old. Design flaws to note: the large slide can only be reached by going through the smaller one, and toddlers cannot climb to the first slide at all. There are no toilets, street parking is very limited, and the surrounding grass is often overgrown.

You should first check with Whittlesea council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
