WAMOON PARK

Public BBQ

Wamoon Park in Leeton presents one of those delightfully unexpected discoveries,a proper barbecue spot that hasn't yet been discovered by the masses. The park's most striking feature isn't its well-maintained picnic tables or the children's play area, but rather its blissful tranquility. Where one might expect the usual weekend crowds jostling for prime barbecue spots, Wamoon Park offers something increasingly rare: space to actually enjoy a family meal in peace. The barbecue facilities are straightforward and functional, complemented by solid picnic tables that can accommodate a proper family spread. The playground keeps the children entertained within easy sight of the cooking area,a practical arrangement that parents will appreciate. What truly sets this spot apart is the sense of having stumbled upon a local secret. The surprising quiet allows for actual conversation over lunch, making it an ideal retreat for families seeking to escape the bustle of more popular parks.
