WALGU PARK

Public BBQ

A pleasant inner-city park with a good shaded seating area, drinking water and bins, and plenty of parking nearby. It is exceptionally well lit at night, with coloured lights strung across the bridge that leads through to the shopping centre — worth seeing after dark. Note that there is no playground and no toilets, so it suits a sit-down rather than an outing with children.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
