VC HENDERSON RESERVE

Public BBQ

VC Henderson Reserve offers a surprisingly tranquil escape that feels more countryside than suburban Melbourne. The compact playground proves ideal for toddlers and young children, with equipment scaled perfectly for little legs and no intimidating obstacles. Shade from established trees provides welcome relief on warmer days, while the half-court basketball ring keeps older kids entertained. The electric barbecue sits conveniently positioned near benches and open grass areas - perfect for impromptu family gatherings or weekend picnics. Well-maintained grounds feature regularly mowed grass and clean equipment, though visitors should note the absence of toilet facilities. The peaceful atmosphere and friendly neighbourhood vibe make this a reliable spot for ball games, dog walks, or simply letting children burn energy. A drinking tap adds practical convenience, while the generous green space accommodates everything from casual kickabouts to proper barbecue spreads.
