ULVERSTONE PARK

Public BBQ

A big park at Ulverstone with plenty of play equipment including a flying fox, wide grassed areas for ball games, a walkway to stroll up and down, and access straight through to the beach. There are barbecues, plenty of parking with room for a caravan, a dump point close by and a little shop. The water slide running next door in summer is the drawcard for older children. The playground itself is showing its age and is well overdue for an upgrade - sensory play, a sandpit or water play would transform it - but it still keeps children happily occupied.
