TUGUN PARK

Public BBQ

Tugun Park delivers a delightful surprise just off the Gold Coast Highway, where families have been creating memories for over a decade. The medieval-themed playground captivates children of all ages with its three substantial slides - two large and one medium - alongside swings sheltered by shade cloth and a challenging balance bridge that keeps older kids engaged. The park's layout impresses with five gazebo-covered picnic tables and six electric BBQ plates, though don't expect lightning-fast cooking - the barbecues take their sweet time with sausages. The community garden next door provides a pleasant stroll, while the medium-sized playground equipment shows obvious care in maintenance. What sets this spot apart is its thoughtful design for extended stays. Ample parking, clean public toilets, and multiple undercover areas make it birthday party friendly. The expansive grass areas offer plenty of room for running about, and coffee shops nearby keep parents caffeinated. Currently undergoing improvements with sunshade additions, this well-established park continues evolving while maintaining its family-friendly charm that's kept grandparents returning with successive generations of little ones.
