THIRROUL BEACH RESERVE

Public BBQ

Thirroul Beach Reserve offers a remarkable coastal escape where breathtaking ocean views create the perfect backdrop for barbecuing with family and friends. Located just 50 kilometres south of Sydney, this charming seaside spot feels worlds away from the city's crowded beaches. The reserve features excellent facilities including a fully fenced swimming pool for those preferring calmer waters than the sometimes rough surf, extensive playground equipment, and complete amenities with showers and changing rooms. Lifeguards patrol the beach where surfers catch waves on one side while families swim safely between the flags on the other. The nearby pavilion houses a quality cafe, and the town's walkable streets offer additional dining options. Ample space allows children to run freely while parents relax in this pristine setting with crystal-clear waters. Though parking can become challenging during busy periods, a short walk from nearby streets easily solves this minor inconvenience. The reserve has become a cherished tradition for many families, particularly during holidays, creating lasting memories in this welcoming coastal community that perfectly balances natural beauty with practical convenience.
