The Mill Waterpark strikes that perfect balance between controlled chaos and family bliss that every parent secretly craves. The splash pad area dominates the scene with its arsenal of water jets, fountains, and the pièce de résistance - a massive dumping bucket that sends children into squeals of delight every few minutes. Shallow channels accommodate the tiniest visitors, while older kids gravitate toward the more adventurous water features. The playground infrastructure impresses with separate areas for toddlers and bigger children, complete with swings, slides, and a flying fox that seems to draw queues throughout the day. What makes this place genuinely appealing is the abundance of shaded seating areas where parents can actually relax while maintaining sight lines to their waterlogged offspring. Free entry and ample parking sweetens the deal considerably, though the BBQ facilities operate on a first-come basis - arrive early or risk disappointment. The toilet facilities maintain reasonable cleanliness standards, and the whole operation feels well-maintained despite the constant parade of birthday parties that seem to be its bread and butter.

Aussie public BBQs are simple to use. Majority of sites listed on this website are gas or electric BBQs. Simply press the button and it will turn on for a set amount of time (10-20 minutes).

You should first check with Moreton Bay council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
