THE BOULDERS CAMPING GROUND

Public BBQ

This delightful free camping spot near Babinda sits beautifully against rainforest-clad mountains, just 100 metres from famous Boulders swimming holes. Clean toilets and cold showers serve the small camping area well. Picnic facilities make for pleasant barbecue sessions, though arriving before 2pm essential for securing decent pitch. The real magic happens at sunset when cassowaries occasionally wander through. Short stroll reveals gorgeous swimming spots in chilly creek. Well-managed paradise balancing accessibility with natural beauty.
