Families appreciate the well-fenced playground and abundant picnic tables, while clean toilet facilities make it particularly convenient for longer road trips. The park offers plenty of parking just off the highway, with a walking track that meanders through Tenterfield township. Popular with both families and pet owners, visitors often pause to photograph the quirky weather rock before continuing their journey.
