Stony Range Regional Botanic Garden in Dee Why has a variety of native Australian trees and flowers like fire flowers, Rutaceae Microcitrus Australasica Finger Lime, and stag horn. Various butterflies and native honey bees. Several spots to explore including rainforest, Bush Tucker Garden, Flower Garden, Wave Rock, Paperbark corner, and lookout. Picnic and barbecue area plus photo frame area. Great for families with children. Several easy walking paths and fun activities like treasure hunts and craft stations. Accessible for people with disabilities. Dogs not allowed.

Generally No! The BBQs are first come, first serve. However, if you plan on having a larger event then please check with Northern Beaches council.

Aussie public BBQs are simple to use. Majority of sites listed on this website are gas or electric BBQs. Simply press the button and it will turn on for a set amount of time (10-20 minutes).

You should first check with Northern Beaches council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
