SPENSER ST

Public BBQ

This boat ramp on the Clarence River in Iluka serves as a solid launching point for trailer boats, with a concrete bottom that makes it stand out from other ramps in the area. The facility includes a pontoon for tying off while parking trailers, dedicated fish cleaning tables, and a toilet block. Parking can get tight during busy periods, but there's generally enough space even at peak times. The picnic area makes it worth stopping for lunch by the water, and pelicans are often spotted around the ramp. Anglers can fish straight off the ramp itself, and the location provides quick access to local fishing hotspots. One thing to watch: the rock wall around the ramp becomes very hard to see at high tide. The area has a friendly, relaxed vibe where locals are happy to chat. The ramp itself is fairly steep but easy enough to use with minimal wait times.
