SOLDIERS MEMORIAL PARKS

Public BBQ

This charming small-town park proves that sometimes the best discoveries happen between destinations. Nestled alongside Tarnagulla's visitor information centre, it's the sort of place that transforms a quick leg-stretch into an unexpectedly pleasant interlude. The memorial itself, with its weathered canon and namesake kangaroo chair, whispers of childhood adventures. What elevates this spot beyond typical roadside stops is the adjacent community café, where Sunday roasts and house-made pies suggest locals know something visitors are just discovering. The playground entertains little ones while parents appreciate the abundant shade and spotless amenities. Electric barbecues invite lingering, and the expansive grass areas accommodate everything from impromptu picnics to family gatherings.
