SHIRLEY STRICKLAND RESERVE

Public BBQ

Shirley Strickland Reserve in Ardross is a vibrant community hub ideal for families and pet owners. The park has a variety of facilities including a playground, sports fields, and a community pavilion available for events. Visitors appreciate the spacious green areas and recreational options, including a new sports centre and walking tracks. There are some concerns about maintenance, with occasional litter and the need for more waste bins. The park is popular with dog owners, offering ample space for pets to play, though more dog waste bag dispensers would be helpful. Despite its many amenities, there have been reports of locked toilets, which raises questions about restroom availability. While the park is generally accessible, some areas may not be fully wheelchair friendly.
