SANGER RESERVE PLAYGROUND

Public BBQ

A peaceful neighbourhood playground at Coburg North with a better complement of equipment than its size suggests: a slide, a birds nest swing, toddler and standard swings, two rockers, a sandpit and a small parkour obstacle course. Locals leave toys there for everyone to use - trucks, diggers, trains and baby walkers - which is a lovely touch. There is a barbecue, an undercover picnic area with table and bench seats, more seating around, a drinking tap, a basketball court and grass for soccer or footy. The one gap, and everyone mentions it, is that there are no toilets.
