SANDY BEACH RESERVE

Public BBQ

This lakeside reserve features a protected swimming area ideal for families with toddlers, along with barbecue facilities, picnic tables, and public toilets. The shallow, calm waters make it safe for young children during warmer months. A small playground includes seesaws and slides to keep kids entertained. The spot offers plenty of shade and protection from wind, with benches positioned for sunset views across the lake. Car parking is available on-site. Note that swimming isn't recommended after heavy rains due to potential runoff into the lake. The location is accessible by boat from nearby Boat Harbour at Summerland Point. Popular on nice days, the park attracts families and dog walkers alike.
