RYE FORESHORE RESERVE

Public BBQ

Rye Foreshore Reserve offers one of the Mornington Peninsula's most scenic coastal experiences, stretching along pristine beachfront with spectacular views across Port Phillip Bay. The reserve has an extensive network of sealed paths that's perfect for cycling or leisurely strolls. If you're feeling ambitious, you can tackle the full coastal route to Portsea. It's a rewarding journey that showcases some of Victoria's most beautiful waterfront real estate. The barbecue facilities here are well-positioned to take advantage of the stunning bay views, with plenty of picnic tables scattered throughout the reserve's grassy areas. The coastal breeze can be brisk, but it's a welcome relief on hot summer days when the concrete gets a bit too toasty for comfort. The proximity to Rye's shops (just a few kilometres inland) means you're never far from supplies or a decent coffee if the barbie doesn't go to plan. What sets this spot apart is the sheer space and variety of settings available. Whether you prefer a sheltered spot among the tea trees or want to claim a prime position overlooking the water, there's room for everyone without feeling cramped.Retry
