RUTHERFORD PARADE

Public BBQ

The foreshore reserve at Rutherford Parade offers a pleasant waterside setting for outdoor cooking along Warneet's coastline. The barbecue facilities sit within easy reach of picnic tables, where visitors can settle in for a meal whilst taking in views across Western Port. The location's position along the water's edge provides a scenic backdrop that elevates the experience beyond a simple park barbecue. Cool breezes off the bay make this a particularly agreeable spot during warmer months, and the combination of cooking facilities and seating areas creates a functional space for families or groups seeking a coastal escape. The reserve's foreshore position means the sound of water and salt air accompany any visit, lending the area a distinctly maritime character that sets it apart from inland barbecue spots. It's the sort of place where the setting does much of the work, turning a straightforward meal into something more memorable simply by virtue of where it unfolds.
