ROUSSAC RESERVE

Public BBQ

Roussac Reserve sits quietly in suburbia, the sort of place where modest expectations meet modest rewards. The playground equipment gleams with relative newness, accompanied by matching tables and chairs that suggest someone in council actually cared. What it lacks in towering shade trees - and it does lack them rather conspicuously - it attempts to compensate with a dedicated dog enclosure that keeps the four-legged visitors contained and theoretically happy. The park serves its purpose well enough for local families, though one wouldn't plan a pilgrimage here. Dogs seem particularly enamoured with the space, racing about with the unbridled enthusiasm that only canines can muster. It's the kind of neighbourhood spot that works perfectly for a quick play session or dog walk, provided you don't mind the occasional reminder that not all visitors respect public spaces as they should.
