ROTARY PARK

Public BBQ

Rotary Park offers an appealing riverside setting with excellent covered areas that provide genuine shelter for barbecue enthusiasts. The views across the river create a pleasant backdrop for family gatherings, making it an attractive destination for those seeking a scenic outdoor dining experience. The park's standout feature is undoubtedly its substantial undercover space, which proves invaluable during Queensland's unpredictable weather. However, the barbecue facilities present some practical challenges that visitors should anticipate. The gas controls are positioned awkwardly deep beneath the bench surface, requiring a bit of contortion to operate. More frustratingly, there are no indicator lights to confirm whether the units are functioning, leaving users to employ the rather primitive method of holding their hand near the plate to detect heat. While the riverside location and protective shelter make this park worth considering for your next outdoor meal, be prepared for a slightly clunky barbecue experience that may test your patience.
