Public BBQ

A well-equipped community playground at Rivett, just up the footpath from the local shops. The equipment runs to a swing set with a toddler bucket seat, a hoop shooting pole, a stand-alone slide, talking pipes, and an obstacle structure with a spin bar, climbing wall and three climbing nets. Six colourfully warped metal climbing sculptures sit low to the ground, and a small circle garden ringed with Australian seed pod sculptures is made for touching. A shaded barbecue area faces the equipment, and a fitness trail runs alongside the oval. There are no toilets. The shade sails came down in a storm and have not been replaced, so only the tables are covered now, and those could do with a wipe. A cafe is close by.

Generally No! The BBQs are first come, first serve. However, if you plan on having a larger event then please check with the local council.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
