Public BBQ

Richards Park presents a hidden gem resembling a secret garden in a lovely neighborhood near Norwood Parade shops. This beautiful green space features mature trees creating an intimate atmosphere that makes the park seem larger. Well-maintained grounds include picnic tables, BBQ facilities, playground equipment, and clean public restrooms. The landscaped layout provides secluded spaces for peaceful enjoyment away from Magill Road's bustle. Perfectly manicured lawns suit rest, play, and barbecues while supporting birthday parties and picnics. Birds and butterflies flourish in this family-friendly environment welcoming kids and dogs. Open grassy areas complement the playground, with multiple benches throughout. The park previously featured two pianos, now removed.
