RASDALL PARK

Public BBQ

Rasdal Park emerges as one of those delightfully practical suburban gems that manages to tick most boxes without much fanfare. The expansive grassy areas provide ample space for ball games and bike practice, while the well-maintained playground features an unusual green carpet surface that sets it apart from the typical soil-based affairs elsewhere. The park's curved walking path adds a touch of scenic charm, winding past shaded seating areas with outdoor roofs and picnic tables. What truly sets this place apart happens around 4pm, when cockatoos and rainbow lorikeets descend for their daily social hour - visitors who bring sunflower seeds might find themselves with feathered friends eating from their hands. The amenities block provides functional toilets, though one might wish for better maintenance and soap dispensers.
