PIZZEY AGILITY DOG PARK

Public BBQ

Pizzey Park centres around off-leash dog recreation where a small lake provides swimming opportunities beneath towering pines, complemented by a partially-fenced agility area that disappoints some visitors seeking full enclosure. The lake and surrounding grounds prove particularly suitable for water-loving dogs, offering swimming followed by exploratory walks through natural bushland. Nearby fields better accommodate ball-chasing activities than the compact agility park itself. Facilities include drinking water fountains for both dogs and owners, though the low-mounted taps and stainless steel dog drinking attachments frustrate visitors who'd prefer washing hoses like those at other coastal parks. The adjacent picnic area features tables, chairs, and BBQ facilities, though additional bins would address the persistent problem of bagged waste left behind. The mix of swimming, socialising, and nature walking keeps dogs and owners returning regularly.
