PINKS RESERVE

Public BBQ

Pinks Reserve stands as a bustling multi-sport complex that draws families and athletes throughout the week. The aging but excellent basketball centre buzzes with activity, doubling as a venue for table tennis and badminton competitions. The high-standard football oval anchors the facility, while the partially covered netball courts prove particularly impressive for weekend junior competitions. Saturday mornings bring the welcome sight of a coffee van serving bacon and egg rolls to parents watching children's netball. The expansive car park doubles as an ideal practice space for learner drivers during the off-season. Beyond organised sport, the reserve offers excellent dog walking opportunities with a full perimeter circuit and nearby off-leash areas featuring long grassy stretches. The softball club adds to the sporting variety, though visitors still await promised new pavilion facilities for football and cricket clubs.
