PICTON BOTANICAL GARDENS

Public BBQ

Picton Botanical Gardens offers well-maintained grounds with seasonal highlights throughout the year. Cherry blossoms bloom in spring, while autumn brings striking colour displays across the walking paths. The park features an updated all-abilities playground, covered picnic tables and benches, and outdoor fitness equipment for a quick workout. Mature trees provide generous shade for families, and the gardens maintain a peaceful atmosphere despite being close to town. Free entry makes it accessible for regular visits. Parking can be tight during events, but on typical days the timing works out. The area transitions from manicured gardens to natural bushland sections, and some visitors fish along the creek. The recently upgraded toilet facilities are now fully accessible. Popular with families, dog walkers, and cyclists looking for open space without the crowds.
