PETER FAUST CAMPING GROUND

Public BBQ

Looking at Peter Faust Camping Ground, this lakeside retreat offers something genuinely special beyond typical camping experiences. The glamping tents steal the show - beautifully appointed accommodations that had couples raving about their stays and already planning return visits. Owners Mark and Ilze have mastered the art of hospitality, creating an atmosphere where guests feel genuinely welcomed rather than merely processed. The camping itself hits all the practical marks: spotless amenities with proper hot showers, reliable Telstra coverage, and a well-stocked kiosk. At $30 for a campervan overnight, it's refreshingly affordable, though the first-come-first-served system means arriving early for prime lake-view spots. The location shines for families drawn to fishing and boating, while the peaceful setting provides that increasingly rare commodity - actual tranquility. Clean facilities and attentive staff round out what feels less like a commercial campground and more like staying with friends who happen to have extraordinary lakeside property.
