PARKEDGE PARK

Public BBQ

Parkedge Park presents itself as one of those neighbourhood gems that's perfectly adequate if you happen to live within a five-minute stroll, though don't expect to cross town for it. The compact playground equipment strikes visitors as rather modest despite enthusiastic local proclamations. What the park lacks in playground variety, it compensates for with generous open space - ideal for a proper kick of the footy or letting the kids burn off energy. The free BBQ facilities and sheltered table provide decent amenities, though you'll likely find yourself wishing for additional seating when the extended family arrives.
