PARC MENAI

Public BBQ

A small park that offers a surprising amount of variety and functions as a genuine centrepiece for the suburb. There is a walking path used for a weekly Sunday parkrun, a gazebo, a children's play area with plenty of shade over the equipment, a half basketball court, a skate area for older children, and seated areas throughout, with public toilets and bubblers on site. Parking is plentiful and it is a short walk to the shopping centre and library, so picking up a coffee or lunch to eat in the park is easy. The grounds are well maintained and genuinely lush. Two notes: it is better suited to children up to about ten than to toddlers, and the barbecue has a habit of cutting out mid-cook.
