ORANA PARK

Public BBQ

Tucked away in Seven Hills, Orana Park offers a surprisingly spacious barbecue spot that feels refreshingly uncrowded compared to busier Sydney parks. The well-maintained grounds feature plenty of undercover seating areas perfect for a family barbie, complemented by expansive grassed areas that give everyone room to spread out. The park's standout feature is undoubtedly its excellent off-leash dog area, where friendly locals gather with their four-legged companions. If you're bringing the dogs along for your barbecue adventure, they'll be in heaven while you fire up the hotplate. Tennis courts and a playground round out the facilities, making this a genuine family destination. Fair warning though - spring visits require vigilance as the local magpies can be particularly territorial. The toilets are frustratingly locked most of the time, and while the duck pond adds charm, it could use better maintenance.
