NORTHSIDE PARK

Public BBQ

Northside Park's charming tractor theme sets a playful tone for this well-designed neighbourhood gem. The playground offers impressive equipment genuinely catering to toddlers through school age, slides, tunnels, climbing structures, and increasingly rare swings create a proper adventure course. The undercover barbecue facilities and picnic tables provide excellent shelter, though shade coverage varies. Maintenance standards are commendably high, creating a clean, safe environment. Expansive open areas accommodate ball games, making this more than just a playground. One consideration: metal swings become uncomfortably hot during summer days. The absence of nearby toilets requires planning for extended visits. Overall, this community space serves local families exceptionally well with thoughtful design and purposeful use of recycled materials.
