MONK PARK

Public BBQ

Monk Park offers a welcome respite just off Calala Lane, where families discover a thoughtfully designed BBQ area that prioritizes both comfort and entertainment. The undercover picnic tables provide reliable shelter from the NSW elements, while the dedicated play area keeps children happily occupied as parents tend to the barbecue. This quiet spot, as one visitor noted, serves as an ideal place for a rest during travels through the Calala region. The park's layout strikes a practical balance - close enough to the main road for easy access, yet sufficiently removed to maintain its peaceful atmosphere. The combination of covered dining spaces and recreational facilities makes it particularly appealing for families seeking a proper meal break rather than a rushed roadside stop.
