MOLESWORTH RECREATION RESERVE

Public BBQ

Molesworth Recreation Reserve transforms from simple recreation ground into a proper caravan park experience along the Goulburn River. The revitalized facilities reflect dedicated management by Jodie and Scott, who've created something special from what was once just another country reserve. Riverside sites offer genuine tranquility, where you can dangle feet in cool river water between BBQ sessions under massive shady trees. The walking distance to the local pub adds unexpected convenience - decent meals and cold drinks in the beer garden after a day of fishing or boating from the adjacent boat ramp. Family-friendly atmosphere thrives here, with organized games bringing kids and adults together naturally. Pet-friendly policies mean the whole family can enjoy the space. While it's not free camping despite the "recreation reserve" name, the caravan park rates prove reasonable for the riverside location and quality facilities.
