MEMORIAL SWIMMING POOL

Public BBQ

This community swimming pool offers weary travellers a welcome respite from long journeys through the NSW countryside. The facility provides a safe, family-friendly environment where visitors can cool off from the outback heat. Local lifeguard Kathy stands out as a particularly helpful staff member, offering extensive knowledge about regional activities and attractions. The reception staff maintain a welcoming atmosphere despite occasional challenges - recent mouse plagues in the area have created some vermin issues that management works to address. The pool serves as an ideal spot for families seeking relief from hot weather, with friendly local staff who genuinely try to assist visitors with information about Coonabarabran and surrounding areas.
