MAINTOP RIDGE RESERVE

Public BBQ

Maintop Ridge Reserve presents itself as a family-friendly destination, though visitors would be wise to manage expectations accordingly. The reserve offers a pleasant enough setting where children can burn off energy while parents attempt to master outdoor cooking. However, the facility's gas bottles appear to suffer from chronic emptiness - a recurring theme that visitors have noted with resigned frustration. The absence of toilet facilities adds another layer of adventure, requiring families to plan visits with military precision. Despite these practical shortcomings, the reserve provides a peaceful retreat in Botanic Ridge with adequate space for relaxation.
