MAIDENS PLAYGROUND

Public BBQ

This unassuming family park offers an intriguing blend of coastal access and bushland charm that keeps drawing visitors back. The recently completed lookout ladder provides spectacular views over Bunbury, with a convenient concrete path winding back down through native vegetation. Families gravitate toward the playground and shelter areas, while the free barbecues see steady use throughout the day - though bringing your own table tennis bat and ball opens up additional entertainment options. The Maiden's Reserve Walk beckons more energetic visitors with its gentle bushland trails, offering a surprisingly peaceful nature experience just minutes from town. While the facilities maintain a refreshingly basic approach - and the toilet block could certainly benefit from more frequent attention - there's something appealingly unpretentious about the place. The ongoing beach access improvements promise to enhance what locals quietly regard as one of their better-kept recreational secrets.
