LYNFIELD PARK

Public BBQ

Lynfield Park delivers a surprisingly well-equipped experience tucked into suburban Caboolture. The standout feature is undoubtedly the new exercise equipment – genuinely impressive gear that puts many commercial gyms to shame. Two substantial gazebos provide excellent shelter for BBQ sessions, and there's no shortage of seating for larger gatherings. The basketball halfcourt sees plenty of action, while the open grassy areas accommodate everything from footy practice to Pokemon Go raids (yes, there are multiple gyms here). Wheelchair accessibility is thoughtfully implemented throughout. The playground skews younger – think toddler territory – though determined 8-10 year olds still manage to extract considerable fun. What's genuinely frustrating is the complete absence of toilets, a baffling oversight for a family-focused park. Occasional broken glass issues require vigilant parents to scan the area first. Despite these shortcomings, Lynfield Park's solid infrastructure and well-maintained grounds make it a reliable choice for active families willing to plan their toilet stops elsewhere.
