LIONS PARK

Public BBQ

Lions Park delivers a winning combination of coastal charm and family convenience along Shoalwater's shoreline. The compact reserve features well-maintained BBQ facilities perfectly positioned for watching paddle-boarders navigate toward Penguin Island. Children gravitate to the playground while fitness enthusiasts tackle the outdoor exercise equipment - chin-ups, push-ups, and crunches with spectacular ocean views as motivation. Beach access proves effortless via a direct pathway from the car park, leading to calm waters ideal for swimming and snorkelling adventures. The dog-friendly beach attracts four-legged visitors and their humans alike. While the park lacks toilets (a common visitor gripe), nearby Penguin Island facilities and café fill this gap without major inconvenience. The location shines on still days when the water mirrors the sky, creating perfect conditions for family barbies with a view. Clean, well-maintained grounds and ample parking make this coastal gem worth the drive south of Perth.
