LIONS PARK

Public BBQ

Nestled along the Esplanade in Campbell Town, this well-maintained riverside park offers a tranquil escape with genuine character. The centrepiece is a generously covered barbecue area shaded by magnificent mature trees, perfect for families seeking shelter while cooking up a feed. A gentle creek meanders through the grounds, home to a resident duck population that delights children exploring the nearby play equipment. The setting delivers spectacular views across the river towards the surrounding valley, providing a scenic backdrop whether settling in for a leisurely picnic or strolling with a dog along the waterside paths. Basic toilet facilities are conveniently positioned near the picnic benches. History enthusiasts will appreciate the park's proximity to Campbell Town's heritage precinct, with historic houses visible nearby and the Bridge Street heritage walk starting just a short distance away.
