LB DAVERN RESERVE

Public BBQ

LB Davern Reserve emerges from tragedy as a testament to community resilience, having been rebuilt after the devastating Black Saturday bushfires. The oval sits surrounded by recovering bushland, creating a surprisingly tranquil setting that belies its recent origins. The modern facilities include a new stadium and football club, along with barbecue areas that make it suitable for private functions and car shows alike. The venue's remote location ensures events won't disturb neighbours, though visitors should note the limited toilet facilities - a practical concern that locals have consistently mentioned. Clean and well-maintained, this reserve serves the community admirably, offering both sporting facilities and quiet spaces for gatherings, while standing as a symbol of renewal in the Australian bush.
