LAKE MCDERMOTT

Public BBQ

Lake McDermott in Bencubbin delivers an unexpectedly satisfying rest stop for travellers. The covered picnic area features solid tables and seating alongside functional electric barbecues, all positioned to take advantage of sweeping lake views. It's the kind of quiet, well-maintained spot that turns a planned five-minute stretch into an hour-long pause, particularly when the light shifts across the water. The facilities work as they should, the setting offers genuine appeal without any fuss, and the overall experience tends to outlast initial intentions. Perfect for a proper lunch break where the scenery does most of the work.
