LA GRANGE DONAGRA RESERVE

Public BBQ

La Grange Donagra Reserve presents a family-friendly park that draws regular visitors with its colourful toddler playground and practical amenities. The recent playground installation features climbing structures, swings, and fresh sand, though parents should note the elevated bridge's safety concerns with inadequate handrailing. Shade trees provide welcome relief across the expansive grassed area suitable for football. The BBQ facilities and picnic shelter offer decent gathering spots, complemented by a table tennis table with permanent netting. Dog walkers frequent the space, though supervision varies. A persistent challenge involves green head ants throughout the area - their painful stings require vigilance, particularly around seating areas. The park's proximity to residential areas makes it convenient for regular family visits, with ample space for various activities despite the occasional maintenance issues with equipment cleanliness.
