KADLITPINA RUNDLE PARK

Public BBQ

Rymill Park transforms dramatically with the seasons, particularly during Adelaide Fringe when it becomes the pulsating heart of Gluttony and Garden of Unearthly Delights. The eastern parklands showcase impressive tree varieties that provide natural canopies for families seeking barbecue spots. Public toilets and a children's playground make it practical for extended visits, while the abundance of bird life and evening possum sightings add unexpected charm. The park connects seamlessly to Victoria Park via walking paths, though visitors will notice the pathways could benefit from maintenance and additional seating. During Fringe period, the atmosphere becomes electric with crowds, excellent food vendors, and entertainment that runs well into the evening. Year-round events keep this space consistently active, making it a reliable choice for both spontaneous barbies and planned gatherings.
