JACK BAYLISS PARK

Public BBQ

Jack Bayliss Park sits right on the beachfront at Kingscliff, offering direct access to a pristine stretch of white sand. The park includes electric barbecues, picnic tables, sheltered areas, public toilets, and outdoor showers. A small playground caters to young kids, though there are no lifeguards on patrol and the beach can have a bit of a rip. Exercise equipment is scattered along the park's length, positioned just behind the dunes. The beach stays quiet during weekdays and early mornings but fills up as the day progresses. It's a popular spot for dog walkers, with plenty of space to roam. From here, you can walk to Fingal Head, a 2.5-hour return trip along the sand. The park's layout makes it easy to combine a swim, a barbecue, and a coastal walk. Parking is available on-site, and the main shopping area is just a few minutes away.
