Public BBQ

A well-maintained park whose standout feature is not one flying fox but two, alongside a shaded playground, a half basketball court and generous open space for footy, soccer or a frisbee. An 880-metre nature trail runs off from the park through established trees. There is a sheltered seating area with a barbecue and plenty of shaded spots for a picnic. Toilets are in the Homestead Centre next door, where the lighting is not always working, and parking behind the centre is limited to roughly nine spaces. It is clearly popular for parties, and the pressure shows: bins overflow, barbecues are often left uncleaned by the previous group, and they have been found out of service on public holidays.

Generally No! The BBQs are first come, first serve. However, if you plan on having a larger event then please check with Gosnells council.

Aussie public BBQs are simple to use. Majority of sites listed on this website are gas or electric BBQs. Simply press the button and it will turn on for a set amount of time (10-20 minutes).

You should first check with Gosnells council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
