HOMESTEAD PARK

Public BBQ

Homestead Park represents one of those happy stories where community investment transforms an overlooked patch into a genuine neighbourhood asset. The fully fenced playground creates a secure sanctuary where toddlers can explore without parents hovering anxiously. Shade structures thoughtfully shelter the equipment from Queensland's relentless sun, making afternoon visits tolerable even in summer. The security and shade make it particularly popular with grandparents bringing little ones for a safe adventure. While the playground equipment is excellent, you sense the potential for more - extra seating for weary parents, perhaps a bike track to utilise the generous open space, or additional shade sails. What already exists, however, proves that sometimes modest improvements yield significant community benefits. It's become exactly what Coes Creek needed: a proper family destination.
