Public BBQ

Holroyd Gardens has been renovated and locals consider it the best park in the area. The park features restrooms, BBQs, tables for birthday celebrations, and a mini bike track where kids can safely ride and skate away from the road. It's walking distance to shops, a chemist, and medical centres, and is wheelchair accessible. The playground has areas designed for different age groups, and the park is dog-friendly though dogs must be leashed. There's also a historic brickworks site, a duck pond, and a small creek that visitors find pleasant.

Generally No! The BBQs are first come, first serve. However, if you plan on having a larger event then please check with Cumberland council.

Aussie public BBQs are simple to use. Majority of sites listed on this website are gas or electric BBQs. Simply press the button and it will turn on for a set amount of time (10-20 minutes).

You should first check with Cumberland council about the rules and restrictions.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
